Here we have a delightful little pleasure vehicle, made by the renowned carriage builder Keith Randall who always made well balanced vehicles that were pleasing to the eye.

Suit a 11 - 12hh Pony or a donkey
In good condition, always barn stored, could do with a rub down and varnish to be in show condition. Would make a very attractive pleasure driving or tandem vehicle, all original.

Original Windover Dog Cart circa 1900 to suit 14.2-15hh with 56" diameter wheels. Painted dark green with lighter green coach lines. Navy blue Melton upholstery. Spares box under passenger seat. Body adjusts to obtain correct balance. Measures 55" from tug to splinter bar. In top show condition. This beautiful top quality carriage has been shown with huge success and only for sale due to owners retirement. One not to be missed. (Hampshire)

Description

Canterbury Cart (similar to a Ralli Car). Built by Squires of Luton, circa 1900. Restored to show condition by the late Rodney Ouseby.
Dark green paintwork with double lining (yellow). Dark green upholstery. Wooden sides.
Original Lancewood shafts, Warner wheels (50" diameter) and metal rims not rubber. Also acorn finials on rein bar and sprung rein holder on rein bar.
Three leaf springs. Seat adjusted by 'slide and peg' mechanism.
Modern additions, Swingletree (can be removed) and detachable driver's footrest.
To suit 14.2hh - 15.2hh. A lovely comfortable very smart show vehicle.

Wooden wheels with rubber trim - good sound condition
Shafts with brass fittings & patent leather. lovely condition
Body, decent condition no evidence of rot but could do with a repaint to bring it up to show ring or Attelage standard.
